• Made of high quality porcelain.
• With glass inside and outside except the rim.
• Resistance to thermal shock: The average expansion factor from 20 ºC to 200 ºC is 3,56 x 10-5, increasing gradually to 4,69 x 10-5 at 1000 ºC.
• It is the responsibility of the user to determine the suitability of each model for use.
• To avoid thermal stress cracks in porcelain, labbox recommends that the heating/cooling speed does not exceed 200ºC/hour.
• The thermal resistance of porcelain depends on various factors, such as the proper correlation of the expansion coefficient of the porcelain and enamel body, elasticity of enamel, etc.
• Enamel: Softening does not occur until 1000ºC.
• Resistance to chemical action: Resistance to acids and alkalis is excellent, except for hydrofluoric acid.

Be careful:

• Use gradual heating and cooling speeds.
• Use an oven or hot plate as an intermediate step when heating speeds/quick cooling are required.
• Avoid contact of hot material with cold surface.
• Inspect laboratory equipment carefully before each use.
• Do not use any product that appears defective.
