The MIR Smart One® is a low-cost, home spirometer offering a basic level of screening that utilises Bluetooth technology to connect to an iPhone smart phone. Using the Smart One® app, users can record Peak Flow and FEV1 measurements in the comfort of their own home with the ability to send results electronically to their healthcare advisor. It is designed to be used as a self-monitoring tool for those with a respiratory condition and as a wellness product for the health conscious.
It is powered by 2 alkaline batteries. The Smart One® is the ultimate alternative to a conventional peak flow meter and it utilises same technology as that found in diagnostic spirometers. The App uses traffic light health indicator to determine a good quality test as well as target values for patient compliance and values to aim for aim for when performing a test. It allows you to track progress over time and easily send test results to a healthcare professional.
