    Intrauterine Device SMB Cu 375 (Type Multiload)

     
    The Cu 375 intrauterine contraceptive device is ready for use in a sterile package and is composed of Ω – shaped device with two flexible arms, having spurs, made of :
    • low density polyethylene with barium sulfate,
    • opaque to X-ray .
    • It is wound with 0.40 mm diameter copper wire providing a surface area of 375 mm².
    The Flexible side arms ensure that the Cu 375 intrauterine device remains in position as high as possible against the fundus,with a nylon monofilament thread attached to the stem.The sterile single pouch containing Cu375 with its insertion components are, "for one use only".
