    Advanced handheld tympanometry

    A handheld tympanometer with the added benefit of a charging and data transfer cradle for improved data handling within a busy clinical setting.

    The device can successfully measures tympanometry and acoustic reflexes with live tymp display, as well as identify other ear conditions such as a perforated eardrum, otitis media and cholesteatomas.

    Screening tympanometry can be conducted quickly with the automatic pass/refer result, making it the preferred choice for audiologists, ENT professionals, paediatric doctors, family practices and clinics who screen difficult-to-test subjects or children with common hearing loss problems.
     
    The Otowave 102-C combines portability with usability. Designed for clinic and data management but also equally at home and on the road, the device is lightweight and compact, fitting into any hand size. The Otowave 102-C portable tympanometer is also designed with a large LCD-display, meaning users review test results clearly.
    If required, the device can be powered and charged using a mobile power bank when in the field to ensure unlimited test possibilities. With industry leading design, clear and precise graphic display and a simple four button layout, the 102-C features can be learned quickly and tests performed confidently.

    While showing the measurements live on screen, additional information about the peak pressure (in daPa) and peak volume (in ml), the gradient and ear canal volume are stored with each tympanometry session. Within the tympanogram, the compliance peak can be re-adjusted if required, allowing the pass/refer result to be adjusted. Acoustic reflex results are shown in frequency specific, large graphs including the pass and refer evaluation.
     
    Results can be printed directly from the docking cradle to an optional portable printer. Patient results can also be transferred to a PC for review using the complimentary ampliSuite software. Also benefit from storing test data within Noah or OtoAccess® using the supplied interface modules.
    Test results can also be viewed in a number of EMR audiology applications including AuditbaseTM and Practice NavigatorTM.
