Emostop Hemostatic Dressing 6 pieces

Emostop is a hemostatic dressing designed for dressing superficial wounds and promotes the formation of a clot near the wound, quickly stopping the bleeding. It is ideal for the local treatment of minor skin injuries, such as epistaxis (nosebleeds), abrasions, cuts, small surgical wounds, and wounds with exudate, especially in emergency situations.

The dressing comes in a package containing 6 single-use hemostatic dressings, making it a convenient and effective solution for quick bleeding control.

Indications:

• Treatment of epistaxis (nosebleeds)
• Superficial skin injuries (e.g., cuts, abrasions, small surgical wounds)
• Emergency care for wounds with exudate

How to Use:

1. Epistaxis (Nosebleeds):
   • Gently blow your nose to remove any clots.
   • Use the full dressing or a part of it and place it into the affected nostril.
   • Apply light pressure to help control the bleeding.
2. Minor External Wounds (e.g., cuts, abrasions, injection sites):
   • Clean the wound thoroughly before use.
   • Apply the dressing directly to the wound, applying light pressure.
   • Leave the dressing on the wound until the bleeding stops, but no longer than 30 minutes.
   • If necessary, repeat the application up to 2 times per day, until healing progresses.

Ingredients:

• Viscous PE/PET fibers containing NOVACLOT 10% (composed of an aqueous solution of ammonium citrate iron (FAC) and Rocca alum)
• Colloidal silica
• Ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer

Warnings:

• For external use only. Do not ingest.
• Do not use on deep wounds, wounds with damaged skin, or wounds with active infections.
• Avoid use if you have a known allergy to any component of the product.
• May cause local burning sensation, especially on sensitive or already irritated skin.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Do not use if the packaging is damaged.
• Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days.
• Consult your pharmacist or doctor if using other products on the wound simultaneously.
• Keep out of reach of children.
