    Non Absorbable Sutures 2/0 26mm 45cm 8685H

     
    • Ethicon's PROLENE sutures are non-absorbable, sterile surgical sutures composed of an isotactic crystalline stereoisomer of polypropylene.
    • The thread is blue to be clearly visible.
    • They are indicated for the retention in contact or the convergence of soft tissues even in ophthalmological operations, in operations on the cardiovascular and nervous system.
    • They cause a minimal inflammatory reaction in the tissue, which is followed by gradual encapsulation of the suture by fibrous connective tissue.
    • They are non-absorbable, nor subject to degradation or weakening by the action of tissue enzymes.
    • As monofilament sutures they help prevent infection and have been used successfully in infected wounds to eliminate or minimize later sinus formation and suture rejection
    • They do not stick to the tissues, resulting in easy and painless removal.
