The 90 cm x 200 cm mattress platform of the CURA 3060 bed has been adapted to aim for the highest level of patient comfort. The mattress platform is made of ABS plastic parts and is therefore easy to clean, disinfect and detach. The 7-section mattress platform is made of recyclable and disinfectable material which is PP and silver nanoparticle (Ag NPs) compounds. 7 sections are easy to wash and remove and clean, with rounded edges and built-in mattress caps without sharp edges.
Side rails specially and ergonomically designed with integrated urine bag base with seat angle adjustment. Appropriate design increases patient engagement and reduces healthcare workers' efforts for easy cleaning and disinfection. The design of the sections, specially designed for additional safety to prevent the risk of falling, achieves a large 42 cm height above the mattress platform and an overall side surface for the patient, according to the standard for hospital beds CE EN 60601 -2-52. The side rails have a lateral space consumption of 4 cm, take up less space and can be easily lowered with one hand.
The excellent and ergonomic design of the broken side rails of the CURA bed provides full lateral protection in all positions and at all times, even the bed is articulated. This helps reduce potential caregiver strain as well as the risk of patient falls. Patients can easily be moved to the most comfortable position without compromising their safety. The side rails feature a smooth and quick self-lowering mechanism with a damping system that can be activated with one hand for immediate access to patients.

The remote control has up to twelve soft-touch buttons and LED indicator lights available with protection class IPX6 Washable. This control provides users with an optimal overview of the many adjustment options, movement patterns and additional features, ensuring efficiency and accuracy when caring for patients.
It is successfully adjusted with an automatic regression system during the back and leg adjustments with automatic displacement increasing the space in the pelvic area, creating an additional space of 15 cm. This care mechanism maximizes comfort during recovery by allowing degreasing pressure ulcers and significantly reduced pressure on the pelvis and sacral areas to enhance breathing and avoid constant repositioning of the patient in bed.
In case of emergency, the back can be lowered manually via a quick release lever (MANUEL CPR) available on both sides of the bed. the lever allows adjustment in any position of the bed, even at the lowest height and with the safety sides up or down.
The on-site angle indicator helps position the patient at the desired elevation angle.
